The 26^th Annual William T. Dwyer Awards for Excellence in Education was held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. Awards were given in five categories: Elementary Education, Middle School, Senior High School, Career Education and Special Programs.

 

 

The purpose of the Dwyer Awards is to honor outstanding educators in Palm Beach County, to increase awareness of the exemplary educators teaching in our community, and to encourage all residents to promote high standards of excellence in education.

 

This year’s Chair was Bryan Rapp, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. and Co-Chair was Amy Botkin, Bernstein Wealth Management.

 

This year’s sponsors included: Platinum Sponsor – Bank of America and Presenting Sponsors: AT&T Florida, BankAtlantic, Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne and The Palm Beach Post. CBS News 12 produced the video portion of the program and Liz Quirantes, CBS 12 Anchor/Reporter served as Mistress of Ceremonies.
